Yoga for Back Pain


We recommend a guided yoga practice by one of our professional yoga teachers to assist students with relief from personal injury or disease. Please contact us to discuss any issues you may have so that we can guide you in what your body requires organically. All poses in group classes are modified to suit each student’s personal needs. Please advise the teacher at the beginning of each class if you have any issues at all. We are here to guide you safely through each practice and on your yoga journey.

A very gentle Hatha yoga routine will extend the spine to alleviate some of the pain cause by a disc herniation. A herniated disc is cause by repetitive spinal flexion, and in gentle guided yoga classes, there are many poses where the spine comes into that motion of flexion (folding forward)
